Team. Vision. Story.
Airloom unlocks the hidden intelligence in security video, turning security cameras into operations cameras
Airloom's vision is to enable businesses of all sizes to fully leverage the video data they already have to drive measurable operational improvements. Today, advanced video intelligence — continuous monitoring, automated detection, and real-time response — is largely limited to large enterprises with significant resources. Airloom is changing that by making this capability accessible, scalable, and easy to deploy.
Our platform transforms existing camera systems into an intelligent layer that continuously detects events, measures performance, and triggers automated alerts and workflows. By bringing enterprise-grade video intelligence to every organization, Airloom helps teams operate more efficiently, reduce risk, and take immediate action based on what's happening across their physical environments.

Ian is a veteran technology product leader. He's held senior roles at Amazon, Airbnb, and Uber where he built and ran large-scale customer and business-facing products and programs. Ian was born in Seattle and has lived most of his life in Washington state, taking a few detours to live in Australia, England, and Japan. He currently lives in Mercer Island, Washington where he and his wife Sara own allister, an elevated neighborhood restaurant serving New American cuisine and classic craft cocktails. Sara and allister are the inspiration behind Airloom.
Emily wrote the first lines of Airloom's code during its early prototyping phase with Griptape. She brings over a decade of experience in computer vision, simulation, and real-world system integration, having built high-fidelity simulation platforms for autonomous systems and robotics. A former Amazon engineering leader, she shares Ian's “working backwards” approach and commitment to building an honest, high-integrity culture with a laser-focused product vision.
